Salvation Army’s ‘Center of Hope’ in Anaheim gets underway

By late spring 2023, the first residents may be moving into new permanent housing that will be built at the Salvation Army Orange County’s Anaheim campus. The 70 apartments and the services to be provided for those living there are intended for people emerging from homelessness who need extra help and support to get back on track. The project, which broke ground Monday, is part of the nonprofit’s long-term vision for its “Center of Hope,” which also includes emergency shelter and a substance abuse recovery program.
