Connecting to the Future: The Henry Samueli Story

National Inventors Hall of Fame® 2026 Inductee Henry Samueli advanced broadband communications, creating solutions that enabled affordable, high-speed digital data transmission to homes and businesses.

In 1991, Samueli co-founded Broadcom Inc., which became a global leader in wired and wireless communications. Broadcom’s semiconductor devices are key to millions of communication infrastructure equipment boxes and billions of consumer electronics devices. In 2005, Samueli and his wife Susan became owners of the National Hockey League franchise Anaheim Ducks. Samueli also is a generous philanthropist who is especially dedicated to supporting academic institutions and STEM education.
