 On February 18-19, 2010, the Samueli Foundation, in conjunction with the National Academy of Engineering, the UCI Henry Samueli School of Engineering and the Department of Education, the Children and Families Commission of Orange County, and the White House Writers Group, sponsored the nation’s first comprehensive STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) summit, entitled STEM Summit 2010: Early Childhood Through Higher Education.
The Summit was designed to spark discussions amongst an elite group of 140 nationally-recognized leaders on recent innovations and current research.
